Hi, I'm David Elwell
I'm a Paint & Roto artist currently working at Industrial Light & Magic creating visual effects for the film industry. Outside of work I focus my creative efforts towards personal projects.
In 2012, working alongside Gareth Hughes (AKQA) I created my first animated short film called Gloam. Awarded a Vimeo Staff Pick and receiving great praise from the VFX community, it stands as one of my proudest personal and creative achievements to date.
The creative freedom to design worlds and tell stories is what makes VFX such an exciting industry. One I'm proud to be a part of.
